Suicide Prevention Training
QPR, which stands for Question, Persuade and Refer, is an emergency intervention to help a person who is considering suicide. In a one-hour workshop, individuals learn to recognize warning signs, what questions to ask and how to offer hope and help.
Who: Anyone who is in a position to recognize the signs that someone may be considering suicide is encouraged to sign up for a QPR training. The workshop is designed for parents, friends, neighbors, teachers, ministers, doctors, nurses, office supervisors, caseworkers, firefighters and many others.

Mental Health First Aid Training
Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.
Who: Families of individuals experiencing a mental illness, teachers, employers, law enforcement, educators, human resource professionals
