Men’s Health
Many factors contribute to good mental health, from being a productive and valuable member of your community, to connecting with friends and family, to maintaining an active body and mind.
But maybe you have lost your job, or recently retired. Perhaps your financial situation has become tight, even dire. It could be that your personal relationships aren’t going well. Or you’re in trouble with the law, perhaps facing a DUI charge.
Many men respond to life changes with feelings of anger, anxiety, shame or depression. When these feelings persist, they can interfere with your ability to function normally.
That’s why understanding your moods, as well as their causes and symptoms, will give you the knowledge you need to stand up and face the challenges in your life.
